Play safely
Responsible gaming for Bikosport Tanzania players
Betting is entertainment with a cost, not income. This page collects the control rules, the warning signs and the help routes that apply to players in Tanzania. Strictly 18+.
Control
Rules that keep betting safe
Six habits, taken from the operator's own responsible-betting guidance, do most of the work. None is complicated.
- Set a weekly budget you can genuinely afford to lose in full, write it down before you deposit, and treat it as an entertainment expense, never as an investment or a salary supplement.
- Set a time limit as well, and stop when it ends, especially when tired, stressed or drinking.
- Never bet to recover losses, because chasing is the pattern behind every large loss story documented in Tanzanian betting communities this year.
- Never borrow for a stake, and never use money meant for rent, school fees or a chamaa.
- Keep your account private; nobody else should bet from it.
- Talk to someone you trust the moment playing stops feeling like a choice.
Warning signs
Signs that gambling is becoming a problem
Recognising the pattern early is the first step out. Take the list seriously, not personally.
- Spending more money or more time on betting than you planned.
- Betting to win back money already lost.
- Neglecting work, school or family because of gambling.
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund stakes.
- Feeling anxious or restless when not gambling, or hiding the habit from people close to you.
- Feeling unable to stop or reduce how much you play.
One honest test: if any two of these describe your last month, treat it as a signal and use the help routes below before the next deposit.
Help routes
Help and self-exclusion in Tanzania
The Gaming Board of Tanzania runs a helpline on +255 22 211 9283, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, and publishes guidance at tgb.go.tz. Calls are free and confidential.
To step away from Bikosports specifically, ask for account closure or suspension by email at info@bikosports.co.tz or by phone on 0222 220 100, and say openly that the reason is gambling control; the terms let you close or suspend whenever you wish, and the request ends the agreement. Underage gambling is illegal in Tanzania: accounts found to belong to minors are disabled and any winnings are forfeited.
